My 2014 Goals and Word for the Year

Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful and safe new years celebration! I spent mine with my family, drinking champagne, playing cards, and being together! It was spectacular! Now that we are into 2014, I've been thinking a lot about the goals I want to accomplish and work on this year, and I love using my blog as an outlet to get them all written down so I can decide on my word for the year and keep myself accountable to you all! So here we go (in a very random order)!

In 2014, I want to work on a healthy physical lifestyle by getting back to the gym and eating healthy. This is just for me, as well as for my brother's wedding coming up in five months!

In 2014, I want to read through the One-Year Bible, and read every day. This will be part of my "quiet time" with the Lord daily. I fell off the bandwagon last year, but I want to try and stick to it this year!

In 2014, I want to take a picture every day to document my life! I will be using the hashtag #TGTPhotoaDay on Instagram.

In 2014, I want to journal (at least) something I'm thankful to God for each day. I will be keeping another journal like I did in 2013, and will be putting my word of the year on the front.

In 2014, I want to get a job that is in my field, whether it is being a teacher's assistant, or a full-time teacher.

In 2014, I want to build up my relationships with my brothers more.

In 2014, I want to give more than I ever have before.

In 2014, I want to be a witness for Christ everywhere I go, especially at work.

In 2014, I want to grow deeper in the Lord, grow healthier physically, grow my relationships, grow my finances, and grow my professional life.

After penning all of those goals, I have decided on my word for 2014:

Do you have a word or goals for 2014? Do we share any of the same goals? Leave a comment below sharing your goals or what you're focusing on this year!
